Starting February 11 up until March 11 you can enter to win two tickets to a GE Cafe Chef Series workshop in Toronto!The GE Cafe Chef Series is a workshop series that includes hands-on, interactive cooking demonstrations, discussing important issues for the modern food movement, and enjoying the meal you’ve created with other participants and the organizers. It brings together Ontario's farmers, producers, chefs and local food lovers, and opens every second Tuesday until May 17, 2011.
To enter the contest, simply fill out a ballot at any Tasco Distributors appliance store, and drop the ballot into the ballot box in the store.
On March 12, we will randomly draw a name from the box at each location to determine the potential winners. There will be 5 potential winners, one for each store.

Official Rules & Regulations
No purchase necessary. In order to win this Contest selected entrant must first answer unaided, a time-limited skill testing question. Contest is subject to the following rules and regulations:
1. Contest duration. The Contest opens at 12:00:01 p.m. (EDT) on February 14, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. (EDT) on March 11, 2011 (the "Contest Period").
2. Contest prize. One (1) prize per Tasco location will be awarded consisting of two (2) tickets to a GE Café Chef Series workshop with an approximate retail value of $120. The date of the workshop is posted at the point of entry and cannot be changed. The prize must be accepted as awarded. The company reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is not transferable, not refundable, not assignable, not redeemable for cash, will not be extended under any circumstances and must be accepted as described.
3. How to Enter. No purchase necessary. Visit any Tasco location and fill out a ballot to win. Entrants must fully complete the entry form to be eligible. When all required fields are completed, drop the ballot in the marked ballot box to complete your entry. Limit one (1) entry per person. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once, then all your entries will be void. Entries are not eligible and will be rejected if entry form is not fully completed and submitted during the Contest Period. No mechanical or hand-written reproductions of the entry form will be accepted. By submitting an entry form, each entrant agrees and consents to abide by all rules and regulations of this Contest.
4. Draw Date: A random draw will take place on March 12, 2011 at 10:00:00 a.m. EST at each Tasco location (Pickering, Toronto, Richmond Hill, Mississauga and Brampton, ON) from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period to determine one (1) potential winner per location. The winner and guest assume all costs and expenses to attend the workshop, namely any transportation whatsoever. Odds of your entry being selected for a prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Before being declared a winner, selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill testing question and sign and return within ten (10) business days of notification a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which: (i) confirms compliance with the Contest rules and accepts such prize as offered; (ii) releases MABE Canada Company (the “Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies (including each of their respective directors, officers, employees and/or agencies), retailers, advertising and promotion agencies and the Contest judges (the “Sponsor-related Parties”) from any and all liability relating to the selected entrant’s participation in the Contest and receipt/use/misuse of a prize; and (iii) grants Sponsor the unrestricted right to use selected entrant’s name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation either during or after the Contest, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, worldwide including without limitation, print, broadcast, entertainment programming or the Internet. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted by email or telephone within ten (10) business days, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or fails to return the declaration/release within the specified time, he/she will forfeit the prize and the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate entrant from all remaining eligible entries. The chance of being selected to answer the skill testing question is dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received. Prize will be forfeited in its entirety if no eligible winner has been successfully declared by March 31, 2011.
5. Eligibility. This Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry. Not eligible to participate in this Contest are employees, representatives, and agents of Sponsor and Sponsor-related Parties. Also ineligible are members of the immediate family of and persons who reside with such Sponsor or Sponsor-related Parties.
6. General Conditions. All entries become the property of the Sponsor, which assumes no responsibility whatsoever for lost, delayed, incomplete or misdirected entries. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law.
By entering this Contest all entrants agree to the use and publication of their names, photographs and addresses in any advertising or publicity by Sponsor and Sponsor-related Parties, without compensation either during or after the Contest. The decisions of the Contest judges with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use/misuse of any prize and release Sponsor and the Sponsor-related Parties from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind in connection therewith.

The Sponsor reserves the right at any time without notice to withdraw or amend this Contest in any way, for any reason, including without limitation, in the event of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, withdraw, or amend this Contest for any reason without notice.
Sponsor is legally required to ensure that all personal information disclosed to or received from third parties is appropriately used, disclosed and protected. Personal information is defined as any piece of information, about an identifiable individual but does not include the name, title, business address or telephone number of an employee of an organization. Sponsor will use any personal information only for purposes of administering the Contest. No disclosure of personal information to third parties is needed under this Contest. Entries will be retained for a reasonable period of time and as required by law following delivery of prizes under the Contest rules. By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest, unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
